History of the entity

Mym textiles was established in 1966, situaited at Lot 88 Textile Road, Umzinto which is in the south coast of Kwa-zulu Natal, specializing in weaving, dyeing and finishing of apparel fabrics.

In 1999 there was a change of ownership to Nu Mym Textiles. In a short period of time the company has established itself as a major role player in the South African textile industry.

At the helm of the operation is Mr Zahir Ally (CEO) and his father Mr Abdulla Ally who has a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the textile industry.

He has gathered around him a team of experienced and capable managers and leaders who have contributed in no small measure to the growth of the company with a vision and sound technical knowledge and great respect in the market place. Due to this the mill has progressed to what it is today.

Well-known in the market place for its versatility and quality, Nu-Mym maintains its uppermost commitment to the customer. In keeping with this policy Nu-Mym has developed a comprehensive vertical structure whereby standards are never put to compromise by another supplier.
